Montpellier Marble scoops national fireplace award. Win “proof of success”
Staff at Cheltenham-based Montpellier Marble are warming to success after scooping a prestigious award at a top international show.
The firm, which employs seven people at its base at Staverton Technology Park, won the award for its best-selling marble fireplace.
It beat off competition from more than 200 rivals to win the best marble/stone fireplace award at the Hearth & Home Show in Harrogate.
The award is major boost for the company which was formed 18 months ago, as the show is the major showpiece event for the industry.
Montpellier Marble sells its products through a network of dealers and has a showroom for customers at its HQ.
Managing director Eve Iravani said: “It was such a proud moment for us.
”We are relative newcomers to this highly competitive market and we were up against some reputable companies who have been in the trade for many years.
”This award is proof that our endeavours have met with success.”
