 ACID DESCALING FLOOR-CLEANER

 WHAT IT'S FOR
An acid-reaction cleaner which does not develop harmful fumes. It removes building site dirt, laying residues, any saline efflorescence and any type of limescale. In addition to terracotta, it can be used on any type of acid-resistant, ceramic material, such as porcelain tiles, klinker, etc, and on unpolished, natural stone exept for limestone and its variants. An alternative to hydrochloric acid.
 
HOW IT'S USED
Dilution: 1:5 - 1:10 depending on the level of deposits to be removed.
Application: spread the solution over the floor with a single-disc professional polisher or rag and leave to act for a few minutes. Then use a long-handled brush or single-disc professional polisher fitted with brown disc. Vacuum or wipe up residue. Rinse with plenty of water.
Caution: if some zones are still slightly dirty, repeat the wash with more concentrated solution.
 
CONTAINERS
5 litre canisters in cartons of 4.
1 litre canisters in cartons of 12.
 
COMPOSITION
Aqueous solution of inorganic acid, non ionic surfactants, fragrance and anti-foam agents.
 
PRECAUTIONS
Do not use Deterdek on glossy or prepolished marble and on acid-sensitive materials in general (e.g. black slate). Before cleaning ceramic tiles, performa preliminary test on their resistance to the product. Wear gloves when handling the product even if diluted. Deterdek contains non-ionic surfactants with biodegradability over 90%.

Symbol: St Andrews Cross (I).
Risk warnings: irritant for the eyes and skin.
Safety warnings: keep under lock and key and out of reach of children. In case of contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor. If swallowed or if the user feels ill, consult a doctor immediately (show him the label if possible).
 
COVERAGE
-For terracotta floors: 6 litres for 100m2, diluted 1:5 in water.
-For porcelain tile floors: 3 litres for 100m2, diluted to 1:10.
-For natural stone floors: from 3 to 5 litres for 100m2 (depending on type of material)
